Temperature: 7 degrees, humidity 60% (foggy). The course was extremely muddy.

Women's Junior Race

Team Canada came 10th with 210 pts. A total of 21 countries scored as a team.
2000 results: 8th with 184 pts. A total of 22 countries scored as a team
1999 results: 14th with 304 pts. A total of 19 countries scored as a team

Canada beat several excellent teams: United States (11th), Spain (12th), France (13th), Italy (14th), Eritrea (15th), Belgium (16th), etc.

Fantastic results for the boys!

Major Athletics/Cross Country power were defeated by our team: Italy (8th), New Zealand (9th), Great Britain (10th), Russia (11th), Tanzania (12th), Tunisia (13th), France (14th), etc.

We missed the Prize Money by only four points (Portugal: 183 pts)

Our four scorers were all in the European training camp situation in Aix-les-Bains (France) prior to Oostende and three out of these four competed in the French Championships in Dunkirk (Northern France) on March 4th in similar conditions.

Fantastic results for the boys! The best of the last decade.

Only 5 countries defeated us: Kenya, Ethiopia, Uganda, United States and Morocco

Major Cross Country powers were defeated by our Canadian team: Eritrea (7th), Algeria (8th), Belgium (9th), Japan (10th), Italy (11th), Spain (12th), Ireland (13th), France (14th), Great Britain (15th), Turkey (16th), Australia (17th), South Africa (18th), etc.
